How We Work

Print

Working with our clients, we have identified a number of areas where Harty Roberts can help to encourage organisational excellence through high performing teams and individuals. Using a coaching and mentoring style, we maximise the contribution of leaders in client facing roles and business critical projects. We accelerate the potential of new and potential leaders to take over and further develop strategic relationships and to strengthen the performance of their teams.  We challenge senior leaders to improve significantly individual impact and collective performance.

Harty Roberts’ focus is entirely on improving business performance by working with your most capable and promising people.  Our many years’ working in industry and professional services is the bedrock of our offering. As professionally qualified coaches, we can encourage and embed changes both on an individual and organisational level that leave sustainable results.  Those involved feel valued, empowered and a strong sense of ownership.

We focus on areas of the organization that make a difference to the business.

“Creating longevity and sustained performance through people”

Coaching for individuals: Our overall approach is defined as learning-focused and holistic, with an emphasis on personal skills and attributes and process skills. We tailor a coaching programme for each individual. We start with a Personal Learning Plan and then through reflected and experiential learning the individual develops themselves to meet their original goals. These will be agreed with the Learner and the organisation sponsoring the coaching. Typically each coaching session lasts approximately 2 hours and a programme will run for 6 months.

“Structure changes and maintaining and developing performance levels become easier with a coaching culture”

Coaching culture workshops: Our workshops for teams introduce and reinforce a coaching style of leadership and communication. The workshops cover preferred learning styles, coaching models, directive and non directive communication and are highly practical with supported experiential learning.

The workshop is followed up with individual coaching concentrating on the Learners experiences. This is to ensure the skills are used and further developed to embed the learning and to explore real examples of the need to use the coaching style of leadership and communication.

Typically each workshop lasts a half day and the follow up individual coaching is delivered in sessions lasting approximately 2 hours. A programme takes six months, from workshop inception to conclusion of individual sessions, ensuring the change is fully embedded and practical.

Mentoring workshops: Our workshops for teams introduce and explain mentoring. The workshops cover mentoring contracts and ethics, preferred learning styles, confidentiality and action plans.

Our Process
